It is all possible with the use of SugarFree Nature. Let us proceed to learn how we can make this simple and easy dish at our homes.

Ingredients:
·         Carrots – ½ kgs or 5 pieces approx.
·         SugarFree Natura– (100 Gms/As per taste)
·         Whole Milk – 1+1/2 cup ( 300 ml)
·         Ghee (clarified butter) – 6 tbsp
·         Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
·         Cashew nuts
·         Almonds (badam)

 Recipe:

Instructions:

1.     Wash the carrots and trim their edges carefully. Peel-off the upper layer of the carrot and grate all the carrots using a grater.

2.     Chop slices of few cashew nuts.

3.     Heat a heavy bottomed pan and add 3 tbsp of ghee. Wait till it becomes hot and add the chopped slices of Cashew nuts into it.

4.     In the same pan now add the grated carrots. Keep the flame on the lowest intensity and sauté it for approximately 15-20 minutes. In this of much of time slowly the color of the carrot will start changing and its raw smell would leave the mixture.

5.     Now add the milk to the cooked carrots and increase the flame to medium. Let the carrots cook in the milk till the entire mixture almost becomes dry.

6.     Keep stirring the mixture so that it doesn’t sticks to the bottom of the pan.

7.     Now add the SugarFree Natura and mix well. Once you add the SugarFree Natura, the entire mixture would once again become liquefied or of loose consistency.

8.     Now the sugar will melt and once again would make the mix little creamy. Keep stirring till molten sugar gets mixed well with the whole ensemble. It would around 10-15 minutes in this process.

9.     When the halwa becomes dry once more add the remaining 3 table spoon of ghee, cardamom powder and mix well. Cook for 5 more mins while mixing continuously and the halwa will come together in a mass. Switch off flame and take off stove.

10. Serve hot or warm in individual bowls sprinkled liberally with almond slices.
